Customer Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction

Welcome to Express Logistics’ online shipping portal (the "Portal"). By accessing and using the Portal, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the Portal.

2. Services Provided
The Portal allows customers to book, pay for, and manage deliveries from counties Mayo, Sligo, Leitrim, and Roscommon to destinations in the UK and Europe. Services are subject to availability and operational capacity.

3. Booking and Payment
3.1. Bookings must be made through the Portal. All bookings are subject to confirmation.
3.2. Payment must be made in full at the time of booking via the available payment methods on the Portal.
3.3. Prices are subject to change without prior notice but will not affect confirmed bookings.
3.4. Additional charges may apply for items that exceed specified dimensions, weights, or other service parameters.

4. Cancellations and Refunds
4.1. Cancellations must be made through the Portal.
4.2. Refunds for cancellations are subject to the following conditions:

Cancellations made within 24 hours of booking will be fully refunded.

Cancellations made after 24 hours of booking but before dispatch will incur a cancellation fee.

No refunds will be provided once the shipment has been dispatched.
4.3. Express Logistics reserves the right to cancel bookings due to unforeseen circumstances or operational constraints, in which case a full refund will be provided.

5. Shipping Restrictions
5.1. Customers are prohibited from shipping items that are illegal, hazardous, or restricted by law in the destination country.
5.2. Express Logistics reserves the right to refuse shipments that do not comply with these restrictions.
5.3. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure proper packaging and labeling of shipments.

6. Liability
6.1. Express Logistics is not liable for delays caused by factors beyond its control, including but not limited to weather, customs inspections, or third-party carrier delays.
6.2. Liability for loss or damage to shipments is limited to the declared value of the goods or the maximum liability as per our insurance policy, whichever is lower.
6.3. Claims for lost or damaged items must be submitted in writing within 14 days of delivery.

7. Data Protection
7.1. Express Logistics collects and processes personal data in accordance with its Privacy Policy.
7.2. By using the Portal, you consent to the collection and use of your data as described in the Privacy Policy.

8. Amendments to Terms
Express Logistics reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting on the Portal. Continued use of the Portal constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

9. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Ireland. Any disputes arising from the use of the Portal or services provided will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
